With your support of the PLAY FOR THE PARK GALA, we will embark on a major redevelopment of the playground, address the field irrigation and much more at Humbertown Park!

KCS students use this park daily in their school activities for phys ed, recess and community spirit events. As a City of Toronto owned space with one of the only 300-foot soccer/football fields in the area, Humbertown Park is also used extensively throughout the year by soccer associations, local community groups and families in the evenings and on weekends.

Because of the size of the playing field, Pinball Clemons and the Toronto Argonauts used Humbertown Park as their practice field from 1993 to 1995.

Twenty years ago, members of the Kingsway College School community worked with the then City of Etobicoke to refresh Humbertown Park. The park is not scheduled for further renovations from the City of Toronto for another decade.

We hope you will join KCS in leading the charge to update this important community site in order to provide a better user experience for all members of the community surrounding Humbertown Park.

Please contact Hallie McClelland at for information on event sponsorship, auction item donations or to make a direct contribution to the park project.

Addressing the field irrigation is the first priority of the Humbertown Park Renovation Project. Fixing the drainage will allow students full use of the field regardless of the weather conditions and gives our community a better place to spend their recreational time.

From 1993 to 1995 the Toronto Argonauts used Humbertown Park as their practice site.

In the unlikely event that KCS is unable to get all the appropriate permits for the park renovation, all funds raised will go towards supporting the highest priority needs at KCS to provide students with the best possible learning experience.
